Dear:
On behalf of the Denver Police Protective Association, we are presenting you with an exciting opportunity we hope you would like to be a part of. The DPPA is the ambassador for a pressing need for those in police service and public safety – assisting officers and families during times of financial difficulty.
DPPA Relief Fund Golf Tournamenton June 6, 2011, and hope that you will assist in these efforts by becoming a sponsor of our tournament and/or providing a gift package we can use as an auction item – your donation is tax deductible.
Traditionally, our community has responded by "passing the hat" to provide assistance as officers and their families fell victim to tragic circumstances. As we seek new and more creative ways to help support those who have committed themselves to serve and protect, we often find the necessity to go beyond "the hat." Therefore, we have developed the Denver Police Protective Association Relief Fund (Relief Fund), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, by which organizations and concerned citizens may demonstrate support for our public servants via tax deductible donations. The Relief Fund has been formed exclusively to provide monetary assistance to public safety personnel, their spouses and families when they suffer extreme hardships.
We can best meet our goals through a partnership with supportive contributors, such as your company, who are committed to our mission and will work together on ideas that compliment your support of the community and provide us an avenue to raise funds and awareness of our cause. We would like to offer you this opportunity to show your generosity toward the Denver Police Department and other public service agencies.
Please review the attached sponsorship opportunities and contact us as soon as possible to discuss your level of involvement. Anything you can do will help and will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Best regards,
Linda Yeros
Director and Business Manager
